When we were little in my house, one of the coolest things that could happen was getting a package. Not because of the actual thing that was ordered, but the BUBBLE WRAP. It was amazing how a yard or two of tiny air bubbles could occupy 4 very active children for a good 15 minutes or so. I'm surprised my mom didn't go to the post office and just stock up on the stuff, then bring it out whenever we were driving her nuts.
Yesterday, my mother-in-law received some plates in the mail which, of course, were wrapped in bubble wrap. And they were the BIG bubbles. Julian and I had a blast hopping on it and then, when we got tired, sitting down and finishing off the roll. It was so fun, and it kept my son entertained for a good 20 minutes. So as long as the popping noise doesn't bother you too much, it definitely is a good rainy-day activity!
